Photographer's View:
Found and Invented Construct
March 3 - April 30,  2005

It is with great pleasure that the Elizabeth Leach Gallery presents two major photography exhibitions during the month of March. The gallery’s one-person exhibit features new work by well-known Northwest artist Dianne Kornberg. This body of work, evidence of its occurrence, was developed over a period of two years. The group exhibition entitled “Photographers’ View: Found and Invented Construct” will feature regional and nationally established artists.

The Elizabeth Leach Gallery is pleased to introduce internationally known artists Sam Taylor Wood, Nan Goldin, Peter Hujar, Adam Fuss, Richard Misrach to the Portland audience in this major exhibition. “Photographers’ View: Found and Invented Construct” which explores the idea of manipulation and staged composition versus the instant response to natural settings.

Gallery artists, Robert Lyons, Pipo and Christopher Rauschenberg will also show new work. Emerging west coast artists Nathan Sutton and David Hilliard will round out the group of photographers exhibiting.
