Matt McCormick is a Portland based filmmaker, whose
work continues to blur the line between documentary
and experimental film. In the future so bright series,
McCormick details the abandoned structures of the
American West, through an installation of videos and
limited edition stills.

McCormick's work is concurrently on view in USA:
American Video Art at the Beginning of the 3rd
Millennium, at the Moscow Biennale of Contemporary
Art (March 1 - April 1, 2007). His films have been shown
at various locations internationally, including the Seattle
Art Museum, CCA Wattis Institute, The Harvard Film
Archive, MOMA and the Reykjavik Art Museum.
