Nashville Scene recently awarded Frequency & Distortion, a solo exhibition by Chris Chandler, Best Print Show in its Best of Nashville 2025 issue.
Presented earlier this year at the Haley Gallery in Nashville, TN, Frequency & Distortion featured Chandler’s process of breaking down the alphabet into its most basic elements and assembling those shapes into seemingly endless combinations.
Chandler is a self-taught artist who discovered his passion for art and printmaking after acquiring his first Vandercook Press in 1996. Since then, he has exhibited his work throughout the Pacific Northwest as well as in New York City, Los Angeles, Nashville, and Oklahoma.
