The Cleveland Art Museum is currently exhibiting the work of Ohio-born artist Ann Hamilton in Ann Hamilton: still and moving • the tactile image, on view through April 19, 2026.
When creating the new works for this exhibition, Hamilton used a handheld scanner to bring to life objects in the museum’s collection that are rarely on display. This process is similar to how she created the work in her 2024 exhibition at Elizabeth Leach Gallery, Figuring Luck.
