Art + Design on 9th: An evening of art, design, and wine

Thirteen Pearl District galleries and design showrooms will partner with Willamette Valley wineries for an evening of art, design, and wine on September 10.

Art + Design on 9th, the collective of galleries and design showrooms along Portland's NW 9th Avenue, is bringing back its popular Wine Walk. On Thursday, September 10, from 5–8 p.m., guests are invited to explore 13 participating galleries and design showrooms, each hosting a
featured Willamette Valley winery.

Following a successful inaugural event that welcomed more than 300 visitors to each participating location, the Wine Walk returns with another evening celebrating the craftsmanship, creativity, and community that define Portland's Pearl District.

“Art + Design on 9th brings together the creative businesses that make NW 9th
Avenue a vibrant destination for art and design”, said Sasha Goldstein, Owner at SMG Collective. " By bringing together art, design, and wine, we're creating an experience that celebrates craftsmanship, creativity, and the character of the Pacific Northwest. It's the perfect opportunity to spend an evening exploring art, design, wine, and the creative spirit of Portland's Pearl District.”

At each stop, visitors can enjoy a curated wine tasting while exploring current
exhibitions and collections ranging from fine art and sculpture to contemporary
furnishings and handcrafted design. The self-guided format encourages guests to wander the district at their own pace, meeting artists, designers, and winemakers throughout the evening.

"This event celebrates everything that makes NW 9th Avenue special," added
